Hi there! We’re Capital Sapphics, a community for WLW, sapphics, trans, and nonbinary folks across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

What started as a comment on an Instagram post has grown into something so much bigger: a real, intentional space for queer connection in the DMV.

Since our inception, our goal has always been simple: to create a community where people feel seen, supported, and surrounded by chosen family.

We know how hard it can be to find queer spaces that aren’t centered around bars or cliques… so we’ve built something different.

Capital Sapphics is grassroots, community-led, and always evolving based on what our members need. From casual meetups to deeper conversations, we’re focused on turning online connections into real-life relationships.
